GPS Receivers: Essential Equipment

Trail guides are nice when you're able to follow them turn by turn and topo maps are nice if you know how to find your way with a compass but why hassle with all that? A GPS receiver will tell you exactly where you are on the planet within a few feet! Even if you buy the cheapest GPS receiver made, you'll at least know your coordinates. A GPS receiver is also the minimum requirement for GeoCaching.

Cons:
