Canberra Australia - Stromlo - MTB Singletrack Helmet Cam - Western Wedgetail/Pork Barrel/Slick Rock/Skippy's
Stromlo Forest Park - MTB singletrack. Starting as usual from the Echidna Gap on top of the ridge at Mt Strromlo and taking the left fork onto the Western Wedgetail track and connecting with the Pork Barrel track which in turn links up with Slick Rock track and then ending with the Skippy's singletrack.
Canberra Australia - Stromlo - MTB Singletrack Helmet Cam Kangaroos on track @ 3 Mins and 31 seconds
Mt Stromlo Nature Park MTYB Singletrack - This is not a very exciting bit of MTB but I have chosen to upload it mainly due to the great chance sighting of a number of Kangaroo's on the track as I was passing the Road Riding Track circuit, see footage @ approximately 3 Minutes 31 seconds. It was a good sighting. This footage commences from the "Old Duffy descent" comes down past the main car park, to the paparazzi section of track. Then through the fence line into the road riding circuit where soon after you will see the "Roos". Enjoy!!!

The Crash Video - Yeah OK I have uploaded a similar video to this previously, although this one skips the Rollecoaster section, and commences from the Skyline to Luge etc. However it does include my first Crash (Stack) footage that I promised to show my big brother when it happened for the first time since I got my Helmet Cam. So anyway Bro here it is. Although the stack itself may not rate as spectacular, it is at least semi decent. See footage at approx 4 mins and 2 seconds. Enjoy!!!
Canberra Australia - 3 Mt Stromlo Single MTB Singletrack Helmet Cam - Rollercoaster/Skyline/Luge alt. route
A slight variation on from my other YouTube video "Mt Stromlo Single Tracks Rollercoaster to Skyline to Luge " this is a variation to the Stromlo Forest Parks MTB Singletrack covering the Luge, The Old Duffy Descent Track back to the car park. Commencing once again from the Echidna Gap Junction but instead of taking the right fork, take the left to the Western Wedgetail. This passes down the Western side of the hill but rather than continuing the full track, as it nears the fire trail down the hill, pass back across the fire trail to rejoin the Skyline Track that then leads to the luge etc. Check out the Kangaroos (Roos) crossing the track right to left at approx 9 mins 30 seconds in the video.
Canberra Australia - MTB Singletrack Helmet Cam - Red Hill Reserve Top To Bottom Run
This bit of track runs from the top of the Red Hill reserve (near the suburb of Garran) down towards the Canberra Hospital and terminates at the top end of Gaunt Place opposite the hospital. Although not technically singletrack or a specific Mountain Bike riding track it is a challenging struggle up the hill with the reward of a fun downhill run. This is the downhill run of the track. Canberra/Queanbeyan Australia - MTB Singletrack Helmet Cam - "Jerra" Off Camber Singletrack
Queanbeyan NSW Australia (Canberra Region). This is an unofficial and unpublicised section of track that runs through the "Jerra" native Eucalyptus (gum tree) bushland just South of Queanbeyan. The area itself lies between the Southern end of Queanbeyan and Jerrabomberra. Some of this track is on private property and riding in this area is frowned upon by the land owner. It is a exciting section of single track that is fairly off camber and creates the feeling of being forced towards the down slope of the hill. Lots of fun to ride. Learn to Race DH Clinic 2010 - BaSE Mountain Bike Camps
During the Western Open held at KHMR on Saturday August 28th, BaSE ran a Learn to Race DH clinic for teens seeking a solid start at racing. This full day clinic with mountain bike coaches Daniel Banks and Tyler Paksi helped the future racers with how to get ready physically and mentally, how to read and walk the course prior to the race, they also worked on downhill riding skills and watched the footage at the end of the day. Rocky Mountain MUni (with awesome cable cam!)
Just shot this earlier today at Hummingbird trail in Simi Valley. Since there are no trees at this trail, I recruited two really cool people to help me set up some shots for my "Uni-Cable-Cam". (about a 1:30 in)
We rigged it so that each person could hold one end of the line very solidly, and it worked out surprisingly good. They even let me hook up their GoPro HD for a few shots...I MUST get one of those. The HD quality is amazing and cyrstal clear.
